I really love this movie. It also made sense when symbolism was mentioned and what it meant to Melinda when it came to a tree. In the beginning it was a symbol of something horrible but when she was able to express herself painting the tree through art it was what helped her overcome her trauma. great movie kinda sad but good i really enjoyed watchin it, n am glad i got da chance 2 watch it. 10/10

The movie was just as great as the book. I truly adore Kristen Stewart in this film. One word: Remarkable.

Social conduct movie about main topic of bullying, and worthlessness. Actress, Kristen Stewart does a good job of playing a teen who suffers rape, yet she tells no one and it destroys her from all sides except Art. Kristen should stick to these roles instead of teen romance where her acting is poor. 5/5 star for this...almost documentary style of a tormented highschooler.

I really enjoyed this film, it brought back some painful memories for me but also gave me hope. I had several weepy moments, but was so glad she was able to find her voice in the end and talk about what happened. awesome movie. 10/10

I liked this movie, it was, in my opinion, better than the book..although I know it would be hard to talk about something like what happened to her, I feel that I was screaming at her the obvious solution from the very beginning. Although, I did skip over the rape scene, it was extremely awkward and uncomfortable when it started, so I figured I knew what happened, why watch it? She has the solution to her problem, refuses to act upon it, and lives with it...painfully. It was a very nice movie though. 3.5/5

in this role kristen she showed the power to overcome Anything, finding ways before unknown to channel the emotions kept quiet. at such a young age i cant belive she was able to play the role at all it shows more maturity than ive seen in a long time and for that i give this a 10/10

Good movie. Both a sad and empowering story. Nice to see K Stew doing a good job. She didn't nervously touch her hair once :P I'm joking, she's lovely :)

Such a great movie...Lots of respect for Kristen!!! I really enjoy art, and in highschool, had some really inspiring art teachers. Over the years, i've lost a great deal of inspiration and ambition to create...and as of recently, gone through a really tough time in life. I think I forget how therapeutic it is to pick up a brush and just let my emotions come through onto the paper. Think I might give it another shot. I give this movie a 10/10.

I read the book when i was in 9th grade. it was very sad. then i found out there was a movie made like 4 years later. i watched it and as much as im not a big fan of kristen stewart and her never changing expressions i think she played her character beautifully. I really like the movie! its a must see 10/10

Loved it. Kristen did a great job playing that role, you can't always duplicate the feeling in that sort of situation, i'd watch it again for sure.

Great movie. Great message. If you liked this too, I recommend reading The Tenth Circle, by Jodi Picoult.
