for realism of how it was down the games back in the rise of football tear-up's between the late 80's and early 90's Football Factory is the one to watch also screen two The Firm starring Gary Oldman and Steve Mcfadden. these two are as close as it gets to realism for football violence.

I believe there are many great movies considering fighting sports like e.g.
Lion Heart, Fighting, Kickboxer, Bloodsport Jean-Claude Van Damme's Movies in general but not only...

Like most fight movies the final ass whooping is great, but unlike most, it's a believable and unusual story for the fighting genre.

I have to agree that Felon and The Firm are quality films! One called Showdown starring Billy Blanks and Kenn Scott is a real guilty pleasure of mine, I recently got it on DVD for about 2 quid off ebay lol!

I'm also partial to a Steven Seagal film... sorry.
